“Vinyasa – the gradual progression or step-by-step approach that systematically and appropriately takes a student from one point and safely lands at them at the next point. Often described as the union of breath and movement that connects mind and body”

My journey into the physical arts began with discovering aerial acrobatics. Motivated by an innate desire to build a strong spine! It led to an interesting and effervescent journey performing at parties, festivals, teaching in the UK and Europe, as well as a number of injuries!
These injuries gave me new insights into myself and the ever evolving nature of our physical, emotional and spiritual self, uncovering deeply held wounds from childhood, I used a range of physical and energetic rehabilitation tools to heal myself. In 2010, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training – my yoga career was born! At this time, I worked on an integrative strength training program to prevent injuries and support the growth of the physical body.
I discovered Ashtanga Yoga which helped me to establish discipline in my practise and led to further exploration. I studied with an Ashtanga teacher who emphasised alignment and joint mobilisation, this was an incredible light bulb moment for me as I realised that alignment based yoga is key to injury prevention, sustainability and mind body awareness.
My free spirited self and can do attitude found the linear nature of Ashtanga too confining and I embraced the creativity of Vinyasa. Drawing on a range of influences, I weave together a dynamic practise that is interesting, challenging (at any level) and inspiring. I incorporate breath awareness, alignment and self enquiry to create a mindful and hopefully Vinyasa flow experience.

“Yoga is for everybody! I teach all people and all ages. The structure of combining breath with movement stays the same!”

I offer classes, workshops, private and skype sessions, as well as retreats in the UK and beyond. I like to bring a playful and empowering approach to my sessions. Find out more below.
